Balluff’s history dates back to 1921 when the company’s founder Gebhard Balluff opens mechanical repair workshop that eventually turns into a factory producing precision, milling, and rolling parts. Thanks to a close cooperation with Heller, the manufacturer of machines, the company continues to develop. This leads to the construction and patenting in 1956 of an electromechanical limit switch.
